Code Blue CPR offers AHA approved courses in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) for healthcare providers. All courses are taught at our training facility in Denver Colorado. We have access to a wide network of instructors and can offer instructor training courses on an as needed basis. PALS is also part of our curriculum.
Why is the need for this training so critical?
Because...
Life threatening hazards occur everyday and run the gamut from heart attacks to strokes. Critical interventions come down to properly recognizing such emergencies, knowing how to properly use CPR, realizing when an AED is needed, etc.
Because...
- Acting in a safe, timely, and effective manner can save lives
- Using CPR can determine the quality of life of a survivor
- The integration of life support interventions can be crucial
- In our litigious society - "an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure"
Why choose Code Blue CPR?
- Maintain ongoing client support with excellent customer service
- Keep pace with the requirements of the American Heart Association
- See that the highest level of competency in the industry is learned
- Tailor the training to focus on the particular needs of the clients
- Provide training for a more effective team reaction during an emergency
- Fill your need for professional and cost effective training.
Our classes include but are not limited to the following:
ACLS: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) is a protocol for handling patients who are experiencing serious medical emergencies such as cardiac arrest. ACLS also refers to the skills and training necessary to use the protocol safely and properly. Because ACLS involves advanced medical skills, certification and training in ACLS is only offered to medical professionals such as doctors and nurses, since lay people do not have the necessary knowledge and skills.
BLS: Basic Life Support (BLS) is a level of medical care which is used for patients with life-threatening illness or injury until the patient can be given full medical care. It can be provided by trained medical personnel, including emergency medical technicians, and by laypersons who have received BLS training. BLS is generally used in the pre-hospital setting, and can be provided without medical equipment.
